Blogging, as an optional leisure activity, is purely voluntary. When you want to do it, it's there; when you're too busy or uninterested, don't bother. That said, I miss you!
Hi Baxter, yours is the first blog I have ever read, and once I started I couldn't stop. I did a search last week for handbag repair and came up with your post about your inseparable, emotional handbags. I've since devoured almost all of your posts and I have to say it has been an addictive, delightful journey. But I was starting to worry about what might have happened to you. So glad you're OK and just taking a break.
My cup runneth over! Thank you all for your kind words and support.
Dorky - there is too little time but there was time enough for me to observe, admire and covet your new English Oxfords. I hope the trip was a success - I'm looking forward to reading more about it.
Shy! Thank you so much. It was one of the great advantages of blogging, that you can have a rest and pick it up when you're refreshed. Incidentally, I enjoyed your prom post - it was a really brave and rewarding post.
Hello Charlotte! It is nice to have been missed. I really enjoyed your posts on poor Helen. I was happy that she knew some love and kindness.
Welcome Jenny! I am so thrilled to be the owner of the first blog you have read, and incredibly flattered that you read so many posts. Thank you! I hope the Shillings blog will the entree in a veritable feast of blogs for you - there are so many great blogs out there. And I hope too you got your handbag repaired!
Blogging misses you too! In fact, it might also miss me. So many things to do and so little time for luxury.
ReplyDeleteI concur with Dorky: we miss you!
